Bangladesh in its name is the People's republic of
Bangladesh. Its State Religion is Islam. Muslims are
in majority and Hindus, Christians, Buddhist,
Baha'is and some tribal ethnic groups are in
minority. Total population of Bangladesh is about 14
crore and its area 56977 sq. miles. Majority are in
80% ratio and rests are minorities.

INTRODUCTION
Bangladesh Minority Lawyers' Association, a
non-governmental and non-profitable minority lawyers'
organization, was established in 2005 by its founding
members Mr. Barrister Nikhilesh Dutta, Former Ambassador
Cyril Sikder and Mr. S. N. Goswami, Advocate Supreme
Court of Bangladesh.
